Online Consultation – Pre-Surgical Qualification for Hand Treatment

How this consultation works

This is a 20-minute online consultation with Artur Soczka, MD, PhD. The goal is initial qualification: review your symptoms, evaluate available tests, and define whether conservative treatment, further diagnostics, or an in-clinic surgical assessment is the right next step.

Indications

• Persistent hand, wrist, or finger pain despite initial conservative care.
• Finger numbness, reduced grip strength, or declining hand function.
• Recurrent symptoms after prior treatment.
• Need to review imaging or EMG findings with a hand surgeon.
• Need for a second opinion before a planned procedure.

When urgent in-person care is needed

• Acute trauma with visible deformity, severe swelling, or active bleeding.
• Fever with signs of an acute limb infection.
• Sudden vascular or neurological symptoms requiring urgent care.

• Prepare a short timeline of symptoms and triggers.
• Gather imaging and previous consultation records.
• List current medication and chronic conditions.
• Use a stable internet connection in a quiet place.
